Deep untracked powder skiing, a luxurious remote mountain lodge, over 30,000 acres of terrain for you and only 23 other people, incredible gourmet food, and a hot-tub under the stars. Sounds like the things dreams are made of, and it's exactly what's in store for you with a cat ski adventure at Mustang Powder.
Mustang Powder is located near Revelstoke, BC in the Northern Monashee mountains - which are known as one of the best places in the world for consistently great powder snow.It is an interior range so we get light, dry powder. Due to the weather patterns of the Pacific storms the Monashee Mountains receive much bigger dumps of snow than the ranges to the East, such as the Selkirks, Purcells or the Rockies. Mt. Copeland, which is adjacent to the Mustang Lodge, holds the Canadian record for the most snowfall in one season at 24.5 m. That's over 80 ft of snow in one season - think of all the great face shots from that!!
Once you experience catskiing or cat-boarding in British Columbia with Mustang Powder, you'll know why so many guests make plans to return next season before they have even left. Snowcat skiing has evolved into an experience that compares in quality and quantity with heli-skiing. Mustang Powder is among the elite in the snow cat skiing industry with 125 sq. km of terrain, a high elevation glacier, many exotic runs, long alpine runs, and some of the best tree-skiing around. With our powerful high speed Piston Bully 300 snowcats we typically do 12-20,000 vertical feet per day. That means well over 100,000 vertical feet per week for an affordable price of $500 to $800 Canadian per day.
