Cat skiing and boarding is fantastic backcountry skiing. Terrain is predominately gladded tree skiing, with occasional tree bands leading into open chutes suiteable for advanced intermediate to advanced type skier. Depending on the group and conditions of the day, you can expect to get 8 - 10 runs, which is approximately 10, 000 - 12, 000 vertical for the day. Each of our 3 cats are fully heated and holds 12 people. Find 11 friends or family and book the entire cat!

Anyone 18 years of age and younger must be accompanied by their parent. It is mandatory they wear a helmet. Although helmets are not required for everyone, Fernie Wilderness Adventures highly recommends wearing one.
